Adilam creates a custom Arcus External Return Chute for Boroondara library Service

MELBOURNE, 19 DEC 2016 -- With the refurbishment of Balwyn library they moved to a temporary location down the street. Boroondara Library Service wanted patrons to still be able to return items at the original location so commissioned Adilam to create two self contained external lockable return chutes that did not require a local network. Adilam created these 4G enabled return chutes that will only open for valid item RFID tags and barcodes. The bins are networked and alert a courier service when they reach 80% full to collect the items and return them to the Balwyn library.

Goldfields Library Service chooses Arcus for Library Agencies

VICTORIA, 12 DEC 2016 -- Goldfields have introduced new Library Agencies, small community libraries with rotating collections. Goldfields wanted a self service kiosk that could be used to not only issue and return items but also function as a library catalogue and give access the library website. Goldfields selected Arcus Self Service on their own hardware with a customised interface giving access to other web based library services.

Adilam Launches Arcus Flow, a Vision based People Counting Solution at Ashburton library

MELBOURNE, 15 SEP 2016 -- Adilam launches Arcus Flow, a new vision based people counting solution. Arcus Flow gives highly accurate statistics including direction of travel, how many people in a building, and average dwell time. Arcus Flow is extremely accurate and can be installed not just on entrances and exits but inside buildings to track statistics.
