MELBOURNE, 19 DEC 2016 -- With the refurbishment of Balwyn library they moved to a temporary location down the street. Boroondara Library Service wanted patrons to still be able to return items at the original location so commissioned Adilam to create two self contained external lockable return chutes that did not require a local network. Adilam created these 4G enabled return chutes that will only open for valid item RFID tags and barcodes. The bins are networked and alert a courier service when they reach 80% full to collect the items and return them to the Balwyn library.
