Politeknik Brunei chooses Arcus Library

SINGAPORE, 15 DEC 2014 -- We are delighted to announce that Politeknik Brunei has migrated its RFID solution to Arcus Library.

About Politeknik Brunei

Established in 2011, Politeknik Brunei’s (Brunei Polytechnic) mission is to equip students for gainful employment and to contribute to the development of a workforce with “21st Century Skills”. A new polytechnic established with the aim of accelerating the country’s human resources development, it received its first intake in January 2012 and currently has about 700 students.

City of Boroondara Library Service joins Arcus

Camberwell Library

MELBOURNE, 1 SEP 2014 -- The large inner Melbourne library service in the City of Boroondara has migrated its RFID solution to Arcus.

The library service has 5 branches running RFID, and in total Arcus is running on 8 security portals, 22 workstations, four sorting machines, and 20 self service stations.

About Boroondara

This area was originally part of the hunting grounds of a Wurundjeri clan of the Woiwurrung people. In 1837, John Gardiner and his family were the first Europeans to settle here.

Victor Harbor gets an update

MELBOURNE, 23 JUN 2014 -- The Library in Victor Harbor has long had UHF RFID, in fact one of the first libraries in the world to get it. They have now upgraded this system, removing their original upright security portals and replaced them with a raised floor portal, and all the ageing self service stations have been updated to the latest Arcus Cloud Based software solution.
